Compassion project SALA event August 2026

TBI participated in the creation of a Chenrezig Sand Mandala at the State Library of South Australia from 27–30 August, as part of the South Australian Living Artists (SALA) festival. Geshe Jamyang and Geshe Dorjee from Sera Je monastery will take part in creating the mandala, along with our resident teacher, Geshe Jampa Gyaltsen.

Over four days, the South Australian community was able to witness the painstaking creation of the mandala of coloured sand. We warmly invite everyone to visit the State Library during these four days and witness this extraordinary sacred art taking shape.
