Special Events

Tibetan Buddhist Institute hosts some very special events. Here is a collection of some of these events.

In 2026 we had two events as part of the SALA Festival program. The first, titled Transient Nature, which will include a special photography exhibition and the making of a sacred sand mandala.

The second involved creation of a sand mandala as part of the event Compassion Project in the State Library, within the beautiful ambience of the world-renowned Mortlock Wing.

In July 2025 we hosted the visit of Kyabje Ling Rinpoche.
