About Tibetan Buddhist Institute – Buddhist Teachings and Meditation

Tibetan Buddhist Institute (TBI) is a Buddhist meditation and teaching centre located in Flinders Park, South Australia.
TBI was established in April 2005 by Kyabje Khensur Kangyur Lama Jetsun Lobsang Thubten Rinpoche, in order to fulfil the wishes of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet.  (learn more…..)

Community Services
Tibetan Sponsorship Scheme – Supporting Tibetan monks, nuns and lay Tibetans in exile.
Rice and Dhal for Nepal – Supporting poor people in Nepal.
Geshe Jampa Gyaltsen is available for personal consultations concerning Spiritual Practices; he will perform pujas and prayers for deceased or seriously ill members and friends of TBI; perform blessings for babies, houses and pets. Please email or ring the office to make an appointment.
Northern Meditation Class – Bagster Community Centre, 17 Bagster Road, Salisbury North.
Schools are welcome to visit TBI. We have a program for kindergarten, primary and high schools.  Led by Ven Tenzin Drolkar.
