Foundation Day TBI 20th Anniversary Celebration

Date: Saturday, 26/04/2025 10:30 am

20th Anniversary Tibetan Buddhist Institute

April 2025 is the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Tibetan Buddhist Institute. Please join us on Saturday, 26th April 2025 in Adelaide to celebrate this occasion.

Please RSVP:  by 20th April 2025 Email: office@tibetanbuddhistinstitute.org

TBI was established to realise Rinpoche’s vision for a dharma centre based on the traditions of Buddhist study and practice carried out for centuries in the ancient Sera Je Monastery.

This gathering will be an opportunity to reflect on Rinpoche’s wisdom, teachings, and the far-reaching impact of his vision; and the development of TBI over the past two decades and into the future.

Special guest

We are so delighted to have as our most special guest Venerable Geshe Lobsang Dorje Doga.

Venerable Geshe Doga is one of the most senior Tibetan Buddhist monks in Australia, having served as the resident teacher at Tara Institute in Melbourne for over 40 years. His wisdom and kindness have profoundly impacted many students, and we are truly fortunate to have him with us on this special occasion.

During the event, Geshe Doga will offer a short teaching, sharing his profound insight with us. This is a rare opportunity to receive advice from such a teacher, and we warmly encourage everyone not to miss this special moment. We look forward to welcoming Geshe Doga and celebrating this milestone together.
