Tantric Grounds and Paths

PLEASE NOTE: These teaching are restricted to students who have already received Highest Yoga Tantra empowerment.

This course will offer a comprehensive presentation of the theory and practice of all four classes of Tantra, culminating in the Generation and Completion Stage of Highest Yoga Tantra.

These profound teachings have never been given at TBI before. All the former students of our beloved teacher, Khensur Kangyur Rinpoche, who received Anuttara-Yoga Tantra empowerments are strongly encouraged to attend. Geshe-la completed his training at Gyudme Tantric College and is exceptionally qualified to impart these rare teachings.

Geshe-la will rely on the most extensive commentary on the subject, the great Mongolian practitioner Ngawang Palden’s: “Illumination of the Tantric Tradition”.

We will rely on the text:

Kirti Tsenshap Rinpoche: “Principles of Buddhist Tantra”, translated by Ian Coghlan (Jampa Ignyen) and Voula Zarpani (Wisdom publications, 2011)

which is a commentary on Ngawang Palden’s “Illumination of the Tantric Tradition”.

When registering for the course, students will be required to state which empowerments and from which Tantric Master received.
