Introduction to Lam Rim

Four week course – Monday evening in May 2025

The Buddhist tradition encompasses a wide range of meditative practices and philosophical views.

With all such a range of practices it can be difficult to know exactly what it is we need to do to actually integrate these high ideals with our lives.

This is why the genre of teaching known as the Stages of the Path – lam rim in Tibetan – was developed.

The Stages of the Path provides a roadmap that enables one person to practice, step by step, all of the key instructions.

Once you understand this framework you will be to take every piece of instruction from any book or teacher and place it into the context of the overall Buddhist path to awakening.

This course will provide a succinct outline of the Stages of the Path in a gentle way as an introduction to this marvellous tradition.

The course will run over four consecutive Monday evenings in May. It will be presented by a senior student, Anthony Reid, who has studied under Khensur Kangyur Rinpoche and Geshe Jampa Gyaltsen for many years.

All welcome. Please click through to Calendar entries for the four nights of this course to register – May 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th.
